oh to remember where we've come from.

Loving that Thursday has finally made it my way. For some reason, this week has just got me ready for the weekend.
So I do have a few updates for you... the kind that gets me giddy inside!
First things first...Living room preview.  This room is mostly put together but is of course missing some essentials: curtains, a rug, and decor for the walls [and the obvious- an updated TV].
Let's start with the befores... [there are a lot of them.]

you'll notice a little bit of that wall to the left...it is only but a dream now

remember how we had to scrape the popcorn ceilings? ahh soo long ago it seems.

And more ceilings... 

And of course, Dad has his heart set on taking that wall down.

And Mr. Greg came to help patch the ceiling... 

Because of course, tearing down the wall left a large hole in the ceiling...

so we patched it...

Put some paint on the walls! (River Mist by Martha Stewart)

began painting the closet doors as well... [this is the front door]

And then, picked out and began laying floors!  eeek

Mom. She's cute... 

isn't it beautiful!?

Had to fix some baseboards...

And finally furniture!!

Yes...these are all Craigslist items... 

And I just picture the pj wearing lady showing Stu how she sits in the couch...

So... what do you think? [of course, minus the key decorating elements].  Cozy isn't it?

Well I honestly wanted to share some other stuff, but now I am just exhausted from the brief history of my house! Maybe more later...
